Case study 9: Design and analysis of experments on pollen grain germination and viability rates of the leguminous

The data for Experiment 1 are stored in an Excel worksheet (CS9Data1) and described in CS9Doc1. The data consist of series of counts of pollen grains that germinated (gc) from a total (tc) performed in 15 microscopic fields of view classified by slide number, bud number, bud length and sucrose concentration.

The data for the Experiment 2 are contained in CS9Data2 and described in CS9Doc2. As well as containing counts of pollen grains that germinated (gc) from a total (tgc), the file also contains data on the numbers of pollen grains found to be viable (vc) from a total (tvc).
